Hydrogen

Together with specialized partner companies, we are working on the ideal solution for the production, storage and distribution of hydrogen from sustainable renewable energies. This will enable us to supply our technology to portfolio companies as well as industry, energy and gas companies. In addition, we are working with our investment project on a device accessible to every private consumer, which, by connecting it to the local regional water network, produces hydrogen using our own developed technology and makes it usable as a renewable energy source. The resulting energy, which feeds the own electricity network, is significantly less than the energy used to generate it.

Background: Hydrogen is a natural chemical element that exists on Earth in nearly unlimited quantities. It is 14 times lighter than air, burns CO2-free and is neither flammably corrosive nor radioactive. In order to use hydrogen's own energy content, the colorless and odorless gas must be split off from hydrogen-rich compounds. Starting materials rich in hydrogen are, for example, natural gas, biomass or water. To obtain pure hydrogen, it is split off with the help of chemical, electrical thermal or solar energy. In the case of water split with the help of electric current, this is called water electrolysis.
