For this reason, GreenRock supports companies and projects in various growth phases by investing capital and know-how in the maturation, development and expansion of sustainable business concepts.
GreenRock is not limited to one industry sector here, but has the possibility to validate and subsequently support companies and projects from diverse sectors due to enormous internal know-how. Factors such as company orientation, management expertise and sustainable future prospects are decisive for the validation.
E-Mobility
E-mobility has been a common term for some years now, but it has negative associations such as "short range", "high environmental impact" due to the use and construction of lithium batteries or "poor expansion of the charging station network". Together with our associated company, we are working on a sustainable solution for a range of vehicles in the field of electromobility, which rethink and revise the current standards. Work is currently underway to develop a vehicle powered purely by an electric motor, using energy sources such as hydrogen and solar energy in addition to lithium batteries.
Biodegradable bottles
Worldwide, the proportion of water surface is about 70.7%. In this 70.7%, there are about 2.2 million marine animals. They all suffer from the enormous environmental impact, mostly from non-degradable substances that end up in the oceans. Our associated company has developed a 100% biodegradable bottle, which is produced from 100% sustainable and natural raw materials. This is so-called organic "bio-based polyester" which is ideally suited as an alternative to plastic. The raw material is 100% derived from plants and not from rare and polluting raw materials and offers an excellent performance. The possible applications for this product are not only as a replacement for classic FMCG articles such as drinks etc but also in the all-embracing packaging industry and everything that was previously filled in PET bottles.
Hydrogen
Hydrogen is a sustainable raw material that can be produced. So we are working with our associated company to make this production cost effective and safe accessible to every consumer through the appropriate technology. Thus, every consumer would be able to generate the energy he needs for his electricity consumption himself, efficiently and sustainably. Surplus energy produced could be fed into the public power grid and made available to the masses. An important step in the decentralization of sustainable energy production.
